The role

The Technical Supervisor leads floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. The Technical Supervisor directly leads the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction. This role may also participate in location administrative duties in support of onsite operations and for career development. This position reports to the DET, DOO or Operations Manager.

Technical Star Certification Requirements

Technical Supervisors are required to be Technical 1 and 2-Star Certified. New Encore Team Members must meet the experience requirements and validate (test out) of the Technical 1-Star and Technical 2-Star Requirements within 60 days of Hire.

The path forward

Technical Supervisors will have the opportunity to work on the Operational Leadership 1-Star Certification, which is required for promotion to Director of Event Technology I, Operations Manager, or Operations Director. The operations 1-Star Certificate requires:

• New Hire Experience
• Complete multiple role-based certifications
• Required work experience

This position ensures the team delivers world-class service while cultivating and maintaining relationships with key venue personnel to enhance the overall business relationship with the venue. Operations Star Certification Requirements

Directors of Event Technology are required to be Operations 1-Star Certified. New Encore Team Members must meet the experience requirements and validate (test out) of the Operations 1-Star Requirements within 60 days of Hire.

The path forward

The Director of Event Technology I and the Operations Manager will have the opportunity to work on the Operations 2-Star Certificate, which is required for promotion to Operations Director and Director of Event Technology II. The Operations 2-Star Certificate requires Operations 1-Star plus:

• Complete instructor led training course(s)
• Required work experience

In addition, the career path progresses to roles like Sr. Sales Director, Regional Sales Director and Vice president of Sales.

This person utilizes all available tools to ensure maximum event and revenue capture from an assigned customer base. This person cultivates and maintains relationships with key hotel personnel to enhance the overall business relationship with the hotel. The Sales Manager also supports company initiatives, business strategies and core values.

This person identifies solutions that meet customer goals and objectives and utilizes all available tools to ensure maximum event and revenue capture from an assigned customer base. They also cultivate and maintain relationships with key hotel personnel to enhance the overall business relationship with the hotel. The Sr. Sales Manager serves as a resource for large, high-end event production in venue location/region and supports the team as needed with guidance and training. They also lead and support company initiatives, business strategies and core values. This position supervises the Sales Manager and reports to the Sales Director or Director, Event Technology.

The Director, Sales Venues serves as a resource in large, high-end event production in venue location/region and supports the team as needed with guidance and training. They also lead and support company initiatives, business strategies and core values. This position supervises the Sales Coordinator, Sales Manager and Sr. Sales Manager and reports to the Director, Event Technology.

Sales Star Certification Requirements

Directors of Sales are required to be Sales 1-3-Star Certified. New Encore Team Members must meet the experience requirements and validate (test out) of the Sales 1-3 Star Requirements within 60 days of Hire.
