To supply, support and provide carpentry services to our workshop for all scenic items required by the Set and Staging division.

Key Responsibilities

• Covering scenic flat panels and framing in various materials such as leatherette and felt. 

• Covering complex scenic items including curved flat panels, lecterns and bespoke items. 

• Basic carpentry skills and knowledge. 

• Basic painting and finishing skills. 

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area. 

• Loading and unloading of vans, trucks and artic trucks.

• Any adhoc tasks assigned by the scenery management team. 

Skills and attributes required: 

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in one of the following areas Events, Conferences, Product Launches and Awards Ceremony’s although not essential.

• Dedicated, organised, and able to complete daily set targets.

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and keen to learn and progress. 

• Flexible and able to work extra hours at short notice. 

• Takes pride and cares about producing high quality work at a consistent pace. 

• Able to work in a high workload and turnover environment under pressure.  

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

• Operates in a safe considerate manor. 

• Team player as able to work independently.
