Senior Credit & Collections Analyst
Position Overview
Responsible for analyzing credit reports and customer financial statements to provide recommendations for credit terms, monitoring field compliance with Corporate Credit Policy, collection and tracking of customer security deposits, assisting in reporting for the Credit & Collections Department, and collecting on selected customer accounts. This position reports into the Supervisor, Credit & Collections.
Key Job Responsibilities
Credit
• Obtaining and analyzing credit reports and/or customer financial statements to provide recommendations for extension of credit.
• Tracking approved customer credit terms and preparing an analysis to determine the field’s level of adherence to corporate guidelines.
• Maintaining the Smart sheet logs including but not limited to Bankruptcy tracking, Escalation log, Payment plan log, Credit approval log.
• Work with field locations to address areas of non-compliance to the Corporate Credit Policy by providing guidance of Encore best practices.
• Confer with credit associations (D & B Reports, Experian) to exchange credit information.
• Work in conjunction with the Encore Legal Team to review and provide recommendations on payment/invoicing segments of external Terms & Conditions presented by our customers.
Collections
• Responsible for collection efforts for selected receivables including contacting customers and field operations.
• Act as a liaison between Encore and the customer to resolve receivable matters and disputes.
Customer Service
• Provide support for the financial audit process.
• Special projects as assigned.
Reporting
• Assist management with month end reporting, including but not limited to Credit Memo Analysis, Daily Aging Reports, and account reconciliations.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable experience
• Minimum 2-3 years collecting and/or credit analysis experience
• Excellent verbal skills, including negotiation skills
• Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Oracle experience a plus

Office
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
