Manager, Global Compensation
Position Overview
This management position will lead a team that specializes in ensuring the company has competitive and cost-effective compensation policies and practices across the globe. The Manager, Global Compensation will report to the Director, Total Rewards.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manages company’s overall compensation plans which many include changes to base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, sales compensation.
Leads team that prepares job descriptions, conducts job evaluation and salary surveys, establishes /ages salary structures, develops salary budgets, conducts minimum/zone analysis, and prepares policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation.
Responsible for company’s incentive plan documentation and administration.
Manage the annual salary planning process, base pay and incentive plan review, merit budgets, etc.
Engage in conducting regular equity analysis of company’s compensation program.
Maintains integrity and is subject matter expert in Business Intelligence reporting of the company’s HRIS system in respect to the compensation module.
Maintains a working knowledge of federal and state legislation and labor contracts that may affect compensation policies.
Manages activities and performance of team members.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 6 years of compensation experience
Excellent verbal/written communications and customer service skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
Demonstrated aptitude for statistical analysis, spreadsheets manipulation and database management
Ability work in a fast paced environment and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Company Support
Educate Human Resources, Management and Associates about compensation philosophy and programs.
Answer general questions, interpret policies, and share market best practice information as appropriate.
Protect company proprietary and always maintain confidential information.
