The Exhibition Sales Executive (ESE) is responsible for driving exhibition and sponsorship sales activity for a portfolio of events within the ETF business. This includes ensuring individual show sales targets are achieved while establishing and maintaining continuity of sales service excellence.

ETF’s current portfolio includes 8 x exhibitions and conferences across a diverse range of industries. ETF is a wholly owned subsidiary of Encore Event Technologies, a global AV and events company with operations throughout Asia Pacific with 1,100 staff. In turn, Encore Event Technology is owned by PSAV (11,000 staff in 49 offices), a global event experience company with an 80-year history.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue and close sales and sponsorship opportunities for the exhibition
  • Responsible for managing the client relationships to achieve maximum sales for the exhibition
  • Research and identify potential new business continually. Make sales calls to qualify leads and to sell floor space
  • Gain understanding and working knowledge of the floor plan, ensuring maximum yield
  • Maintain an up-to-date Sales Tracking Spreadsheet, recording sales and ensuring balanced to the floor plan
  • Attend and maximise sales leads at all industry and networking events
  • Cross reference contracts to ensure all details, calculations are completed and correct and that it has an authorising signature
  • Updating of CRM records ensuring every attempt has been made to keep records current and follow through using available tools to locate companies that may have relocated, or changed contact details

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Time management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
