Le représentant des services techniques joue un rôle clé dans les opérations de montage, d'opération et de démontage des équipements audiovisuels.
Principales responsabilités
• Voir au montage, opération et démontage de l'équipement audiovisuel lors d'événements, selon les besoins.
• Assurer le service des salons commerciaux, des congrès d'hôtels et des événements de mise en scène
• Vérifier les bons de commande complétés et s'assurer que tous les équipements requis ont été préparés.
• Charger et décharger les camions ; nécessité de soulever des équipements lourds.
• Monter des escaliers et des échelles.
• Effectuer divers tests de contrôle et de dépannage des équipements avant l'événement assigné.
• Demeurer assis pendant de longues périodes pour faire fonctionner les équipements dans les salles de réunion (cela peut durer au moins quatre heures pendant la journée).
• Marcher pendant les salons commerciaux.
• Conduire de façon préventive - fourgons cubes et fourgonnettes.
• Conduire sur de longues distances (ou en tant que passager).
• Manipuler les équipements avec soin.
• Remplir des rapports sur les événements conformément à la procédure de l'entreprise.
• Représenter l’entreprise de manière professionnelle.
• Selon les besoins, agir en tant que chef RST qui consiste à coordonner une équipe de RST et de pigistes et agir en tant que ressources sur place pour le client et le département des opérations.
Exigences de l’emploi
• Diplôme d'études secondaires combiné à un minimum de 2 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire ou un diplôme postsecondaire dans un domaine pertinent.
• 2 à 3 années d'expérience ou plus en service à la clientèle ou en hôtellerie sont préférables.
• 2 à 3 ans d'expérience ou plus dans le domaine de l'audiovisuel sont requis.
• Une connaissance de l'installation de l'équipement suivant est requise:
Systèmes de sonorisation portatifs (haut-parleurs, mélangeurs et égaliseurs)

Position Overview
The Technical Services Representative plays a key-role in the operations as he/she set up, operating and dismantling audio visual equipments.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Setting up, operating, and dismantling audio visual equipment at events as assigned.
• Servicing trade shows, hotel conventions, and staging events.
• Verify completed purchase orders and that all required equipments were prepared.
• Loading and unloading trucks; requires to lift heavy equipment.
• Climbing stairs and ladders
• Perform various control testings and troubleshoot equipments before the assigned event.
• Sitting for lengthy periods to operate equipment in meeting rooms (could be at least four hour stretches lasting all day)
• Walking during trade shows.
• Driving defensively – cube vans and panel vans
• Driving long distances (or as a passenger).
• Handling equipment with care.
• Complete reports on events as per company procedure
• Representing the Company in a professional manner
• As required, act as Lead TSR which consists of coordinating a team of TSR and freelancers and act as the on-site resources for the client and operations department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
• High School diploma combined with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position or a post secondary diploma in a relevant domain
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio visual experience is required.
• Set up knowledge of the following equipment is required:
o Portable Sound Systems ( speakers, mixers and equalizers )
o Wireless Microphones
o Audio Cassette and CD Players
o LCD Data Projectors and Monitors
o Computer Interfaces and Switchers

Work Environment
Warehouse
Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by ENCORE based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
