ARE- HR Generalist
Key Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Responsible for all stages of the talent acquisition process, from advertisement to talent selection, in accordance with the Workforce Plan
- Liaising and maintaining records with the Talent Acquisition team, as required
- Designs and delivers onboarding programs consistent with corporate standards
- Acts as point of contact for new employees regarding onboarding, orientation, and assimilation to policies and programs.
- Coordinates with recruitment agencies in fulfilling vacant roles, when necessary.
- Ensures all Talent Acquisition records and reporting requirements are maintained accurately for reporting purposes.
- Coordinates with relevant business leaders in creating and updating Job Descriptions where necessary, in accordance with Encore global standards
Learning and Development
- In coordination with the relevant CoE, ensures that all compliance training requirements are met by team members
- Designs and delivers relevant HR-related training courses where possible
- Coordinates with SMEs and sources external training providers to meet any specific training needs of team members
Compensation & Benefits
- Prepares, compiles, reviews and submits all relevant payroll information in a timely manner.
- Provides expert advice on salary bands and structures.
- Conducts review of up-to-date flight allowance rates
- Facilitates the timely renewal and maintenance of the Group Life and Health Insurance policies, in coordination with the assigned Insurance Broker and the relevant CoE.
- Regularly reviews and makes recommendations regarding Total Rewards to ensure the business remains competitive
Team Member Engagement
- Embody the company values and act as an Ambassador for Encore for All, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion
- Drives participation on engagement surveys, and contributes to the action planning
- Promotes a culture of recognition by encouraging team members to utilise and participate in company recognition tools and programs
Performance Management
- Answers questions and educates managers on company policies, legal practices, acceptable workplace behaviours and appropriate counselling methods
- Conducts meetings with employees and managers to identify concerns or complaints involving workplace conduct, performance issues, absence management, policy violations, harassment allegations and other complaints
- Provides guidance on effective ways of resolving employee relations and performance issues and makes recommendations utilising the company’s
- Facilitates disciplinary and grievance action and termination discussions, as needed, processes all required documentation
- Communicates with key stakeholders regarding concerns as appropriate
- Support the annual ITM process, providing guidance, timely reminders, to ensure completion
Project Management
- Monitors progress and performance against the project plan to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintains project documentation and creates/updates process documentation.
- Provides project status updates to the project team and HR Leaders and CoEs.
- Assists in project planning by compiling/contributing information and recommendations.
- Partners with HR Leadership and CoEs in coordinating project resources.
Information Management, Reporting and HR Administration
- Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning employee data and relevant HR KPIs.
- Analyses report content and makes recommendations regarding trends.
- Maintains formal employee files and records in the Human Resources Information system (HRIS) and according to Encore Standards.
- Provides support to employees with HR questions or directs calls to the appropriate contact.
- Assists with overall employee life cycle procedures.
- Prepares relevant letters and communications as required.
- Performs general office support functions, as needed.
Legal and Employment Law Compliance
- Provides legal employment advice to business leaders and managers.
- Provides immigration support and interface with vendor and business partners.
- Ensures compliance through ongoing maintenance and renewal of employment visas and other relevant right to work documentation
- Reviews and maintains an up-to-date set of policies and procedures, in line with company standards and legal compliance
