The Opportunity

As a Senior AV Integration Installer, you’ll oversee the physical installation of AV equipment, ensuring everything is set up correctly, safely, and on schedule. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the installation, from cabling and mounting to troubleshooting and fine-tuning equipment. Working closely with the project lead and other technicians, you’ll ensure every project is delivered to the highest standards.

This role has the flexibility to based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and installation of AV systems, including screens, projectors, and cabling.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety standards and client specifications.
  • Provide guidance and training to other technicians, supporting their development and ensuring consistent quality across installations.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, and remote support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to execute installations smoothly and efficiently.
  • Use problem-solving skills to overcome installation challenges and adjust to on-site conditions.

Your Background

  • AVIXA CTS-D qualification highly regarded.
  • 5+ years of experience in AV integration, with hands-on installation expertise.
  • Open cabling certification with endorsements; familiarity with industry standards.
  • Proficiency with AV installation tools; basic tools provided as needed.
  • Solid computer skills for troubleshooting and equipment upgrades.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
