Responsibilities
Position Overview
Oversee all transportation, logistics, and warehouse functions. Responsible for equipment quality control (QC) process and inventory tracking. Provide direct supervision of warehouse personnel, including: scheduling, timekeeping and performance management.
Key Job Responsibilities
Operations
- Maintain all inventory levels and processes paperwork as needed.
- Responsible for all shipping in and out of the facility.
- Facilitate the organization and maintenance of all areas of the warehouse.
- Work closely with Sales and Project Managers to maximize event profitability.
- Order and negotiate equipment from external vendors.
- Evaluate service delivery and works with hotel DETs to ensure all internal service expectations are met.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly production meetings.
- Supervise all warehouse personnel and driver techs and schedule staff as required by business volume and to meet service commitments.
- Perform initial yearly reviews of staff and maintains daily and weekly timesheets.
- Train and develop subordinates.
Customer Service and Quality Control
- Enforce standards and maintain service commitments to internal and external customers. Ensure reliable and sufficient delivery support levels in line with business needs.
- Manage QC process to ensure equipment is delivered and maintained in good working condition.
- Ensure equipment is repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
Dispatch
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure all sold events’ equipment requirements are met.
- Assist in developing distribution procedures; support and educate warehouse staff in handling, loading and shipping of equipment.
- Measure and take corrective action to improve service delivery.
- Ensure correct gear is available, staged and ready for delivery.
Asset Management
- Responsible for annual physical inventory results.
- Work with Branch Director on Capex models and requests for new inventory.
- Process lost/stolen and asset management reports.
- Create and receive Oracle Pick Lists for equipment transfers and repairs.
- Manage purchase supplies and order inventory while adhering to budget constraints.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 5-7 years warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in the audio visual industry, including leadership and analytical experience
- Analytical ability and understanding of financial analysis

Work Environment
Work is performed in a hotel, branch and/or convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by PSAV based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area.
