Work Environment / Flexible Remote Working

The role consists of hybrid working where employee time is split between the workplace and remote working. If ‘working from home’, you are considered working and being paid by the company, so you should be always contactable and available, in the same way that you would be if you were physically present in the office. You may also be asked to come into the office, for any reason, at your manager's discretion. Where practical, reasonable notice will be given, and a reasonable time will be allowed for your commute.

As a representative of Concise, all team members must present themselves according to any appearance guidelines as defined by the company, including when based in an office environment, when travelling and when attending client meetings, onsite or remotely participating in meetings. (This means being available for ‘Camera On’ Zoom/Teams calls during all times within normal office hours and for any meetings).

The role is office-based out of the Concise UK office, NW Works, Salusbury Road, however, there is likely to be some travel required and during peak conference season, travel may be back-to-back and for extended periods of time.

This is likely to include visiting clients in their offices, meeting at venues and other locations, conducting site visits and being onsite to deliver events. This includes domestic and international travel, so you must have a passport and/or appropriate travel documentation (visas) to enable you to travel.

Work Hours:

The normal hours of work are 09:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the role and needs of the clients (or the business), there will be some out-of-hours work required, from time to time. This means that, on occasions, you will be asked to work outside of these hours, during early mornings, evenings and even overnight. This is an essential business function, in order to support a global market.

“Time-off-in-Lieu”/TOIL will be granted for extra hours worked at times agreed with your HOD/line manager. (TOIL is awarded at the Line Manager's sole discretion and cannot be banked or used as a holiday or necessarily be taken at the time of your choosing).
