Lead Warehouse Associate- Orlando, FL
Position Overview
The Lead Warehouse Technician (WO) leads advanced equipment handling and logistics operations, incorporating modern technology and automation systems while supervising warehouse personnel. This role combines traditional warehouse management with emerging technological solutions to optimize operations and ensure maximum efficiency. This role reports directly to the Supervisor of Warehouse Operations or the Manager of Warehouse Operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
Inbound/Outbound Order Processing
• Utilize advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to efficiently process receiving, shipping, and labeling of products
• Execute quality control processes using AI-driven defect detection systems and random inspections
• Implement lean management principles to optimize inventory control and reduce waste
• Utilize real-time inventory tracking systems and IoT devices for accurate stock management
Logistics and Transportation:
• Process shipments using automated systems for small parcel, LTL, and fleet deliveries
• Operate and interact with modern warehouse equipment, including automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and automated storage systems
• Maintain proficiency in operating traditional equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and powered pallet jacks
• Utilize route optimization software and real-time tracking systems for efficient delivery management
Safety:
• Conduct comprehensive safety checks using digital inspection tools and IoT-enabled equipment monitoring
• Participate in regular safety training programs, including updated OSHA certifications
• Follow ergonomic best practices and proper lifting techniques to prevent workplace injuries
• Maintain hazard communication (HazCom) compliance and emergency response preparedness
Warehouse Housekeeping:
• Implement 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for workspace organization
• Perform preventive maintenance using predictive analytics and IoT-enabled monitoring systems
• Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with modern warehouse practices
• Support sustainable and eco-friendly warehouse practices
Customer Service:
• Conduct comprehensive safety checks using digital inspection tools and IoT-enabled equipment monitoring
• Participate in regular safety training programs, including updated OSHA certifications
• Follow ergonomic best practices and proper lifting techniques to prevent workplace injuries
• Maintain hazard communication (HazCom) compliance and emergency response preparedness
Customer Service & Staff Supervision:
• Mentor warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated customer service issues related to warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and improve service delivery.
• Drive a customer-centric approach by ensuring timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
Job Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience with exposure to modern warehouse technologies
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and safety protocols
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform warehouse tasks following ergonomic guidelines
Technical Skills
• Experience with modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software
• Proficiency in using RF scanners, barcode systems, and RFID technology
• Basic understanding of automation and robotics in warehouse operations
• Competency in Microsoft Office and warehouse-specific software applications
Preferred Qualifications
• Technical certification in warehouse operations or related field
• Experience with automated warehouse systems and IoT devices
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification
• Knowledge of lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Work Environment
Warehouse
Work is performed in a modern warehouse environment and occasionally at event venues. The warehouse environment may include exposure to outdoor temperatures, dust, dirt, and other environmental factors. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by the company, both in the warehouse and when representing the organization at venues or during travel.
The work environment incorporates industry best practices to ensure safety and efficiency, including:
• Climate control systems in designated areas to mitigate extreme temperatures and improve worker comfort.
• Dust and air quality management systems, such as industrial air filtration, to reduce exposure to airborne particles.
• Ergonomic workstations and lifting aids to minimize physical strain and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
The working conditions may vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes, depending on the tasks being performed and the equipment in use. Team members will frequently interact with high-end audio-visual equipment, electrical components, and automated systems, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.
Work schedules may include irregular hours, on-call status, and shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands. Team members are expected to follow safety guidelines and participate in regular training programs to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.34
The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. In addition, some positions may be eligible for other compensation such as potential overtime, bonuses or incentives.
