The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our corporate office in Rydalmere. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer will ensure that invoice processing, payment processing, all related AP matters and general Finance team administration tasks are completed efficiently and effectively as well as responding to supplier queries via email and telephone.

Please note: This is a 3-month temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Distribute all mail to relevant coder / approvers
• Enter Invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Process weekly payment runs as well as ad hoc payment requests
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Month end reporting and accrual journals
• Maintain the filing system for Accounts Payable for Invoices
• Cooperate with others to achieve the business outcomes

What We Are Looking For

• 1-2 years in a similar role
• Service oriented and can communicate with stakeholders efficiently and effectively
• Experience with managing multiple tasks and the ability to problem solve
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level computer skills
• Well organised with high attention to detail
