Position Overview

The Reg Mgr, Product Performance (RMPP) will be responsible for implementing the strategic plans designed to drive optimal performance of Encore’s Core AV product solutions across a designated territory and serving as a direct conduit between Encore field operations and the Product Management team. The RMPP will work closely with sales, internal/external customers and Encores’s Product Managers and R+D teams to define and competitively differentiate the company’s solutions and resolve issues that will affect product's success. This position will be involved in special trainings, promotions, designing demos and identifying potential obstacles and solutions. Success will be measured by the RMPP designated regions ability to demonstrate total awareness of Encore’s core AV technology offering, measureable increase in new technology adoption through increased revenue, and ability to drive feedback to the appropriate Encore Product Manager or R+D team member.  The Reg Mgr, Product Performance will report to the Dir, Product Performance.

 

Key Job Responsibilities 

Promoting Products and Initiatives

• Promote Encore’s Core AV product solutions across their designated regions by utilizing all existing marketing materials, designing and implementing product demos and taking part in regional events that offer the opportunity to increase the visibility of Encore’s product offering to both internal and external customers.

• Provide the field in promoting solutions to Encore customers using full knowledge of the products and initiatives.

 

Product Awareness

• Work closely with Encore’s Product Management and R+D teams to fully understand the company’s product portfolio with an emphasis on all Core AV technologies, both existing and new, as well as any initiatives related to these offerings. 

• Responsible for learning why products were sleected and their intended applications. 

• Ensure awareness of revenue goals and potential obstacles that will need to be overcome by internal and external customers. 

• Partner with the field operations to overcome any objections to promoting the products or initiatives by partnering closely with Encore’s Product Managers and R+D teams and utilizing their expertise as needed.

 

Customer Relationships

• Maintain close relationships with Encore’s internal and external customers by visiting and keeping regular contact with the locations within their designated region(s). 

• This will include but not limited to field visits, participation in regional meetings, such as DET meetings, and consistent use of feedback tools such as surveys and other means to maximize awareness of Encore’s customer’s needs. 

• Customer needs can be but not limited to opinions or concerns on existing products, new technologies that should be considered, and methods to increase operational efficiency. 

 

Analysis and Reporting 

• Revenue trends and feedback for all product categories within their regions and review with the Dir, Product Peformance and appropriate Product Managers to assess success and areas of opportunity. 

• Assist in creating reports and KPIs outlining regions overall awareness, unmet needs and progress related to Encore’s core AV offering will be crafted with an emphasis on action items that should be considered to assist the region in meeting targeted goals. 

 

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

• 5+ years of electronics or A/V product management/marketing experience 

• Analytical ability and understanding of financial analysis 

• Intermediate experience level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both one-on-one and group situations 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet or exceed multiple concurrent projects and deadlines 

• Demonstrated ability to interact in a team oriented environment across multiple levels of an organization 

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external clients and suppliers 

• Up to 50% travel

Work Environment

Hotel

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area.

 

Warehouse

Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Office

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
