The Manager, Oracle (Finance) is an authority on oracle accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and general ledger systems and process, as well as related systems. Actively partnering with the finance teams, this position will be responsible for exercising creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design and implement complex business solutions to meet Encore’s financial system needs. The Manager, Oracle (Finance) will report to the Director, Oracle.
Key Job Responsibilities
Analysis and Documentation
• Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding the status of current issues, in-flight projects and future requirements related to Oracle AR, AP, and GL.
• Collaborate with internal customers, including Finance, Procurement, and field operations, to identify and maximize opportunities to improve product, service and business processes within the AR/AP/GL/FA areas.
• Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements, enhancements, and issues.
• Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of user needs and business systems, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify business processes.
• Assist in the development process for all approved versions of business and functional specifications in the AR/AP/GL/FA areas.
Quality Assurance
• Ensure continuing operational quality by documenting system bug fixes and enhancements, assigning tasks to developers, testing, and releasing updates.
• Coordinate cross functional groups to test, evaluate and validate new functions and applications, and identify issues in software or services.
Project Management
• Provide project leadership across organizational or geographical boundaries.
• Create project plan and deliverable definition.
• Manage and report project execution (e.g., budget, change control, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, status, etc.)
People Development
• Lead and manage the productivity and output of on-shore/off-shore Oracle consultants
• Model and reinforce a positive working environment centered on company values for both onshore and offshore team members.
Job Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting Oracle (EBS R12, ERP Cloud) experience is required.
o Required: Experience with configurations involving GL, AP, AR, FA modules and functionality. Working experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is mandatory.
o Preferred: Experience with configurations involving Cash Management, AGIS, Global Consolidations and Oracle EPM.
• Experience with Integrating third party systems with Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Experience in leading business analysis, requirements gathering, and support experience in an Information Technology department supporting internal and external project assignments.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in an applications’ environment including Developers, System Administrators, Project Managers and executive team members.
• Proven ability to develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures; including the design and documentation of detailed process flows.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and participation in multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and collaborate with a variety of individuals to achieve business results and understand current issues, especially involving Finance and Procurement topics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong ability to deliver quality solutions in partnership with the business and system integrators
• Strong ability to direct technical teams and act as the technical design authority
• Track record in implementing, maintaining, and improving large scale, global Oracle Solutions for multi-national organizations
• Prior experience working closely, and leading offshore talent preferred

Work Environment
Office
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
